Great food and service. It's the best kabobs that I've had in the east bay. My son and I go there at least twice a week. You can not go wrong with this place.

Great food and very authentic. We have enjoyed their kebabs and bolani. Also their eggplant and chicken curry is delicious. Decent service and good people behind the counter. Strongly suggest this place.

We were craving bolani and our normal spot was out. So we decided new year new spot! Chopan has been bookmarked and we see it when we drive by but never stop due to being a creature of habit. So happy we finally got to try Chopan Kabob! The bolani is fire here! On deck: Bolani Kachaloo Beef Shami Kabob Lamb Karahi The beef shami had good flavor but it was a bit on the dry side. It was good though and not overly salty. The lamb Karahi here is a must. The tomato base really makes the dish. Lamb was tender and I want to try the chicken Karahi next. Both dishes came with a small salad, rice, and piece of naan. Salad was light and fresh with a vinegarattre. Id pass on the naan since it was very thin and stale. Rice was mediocre. Overall I'm a fan of Chopan but I want to try other items.

This place has become our go-to spot for the Kabuli Pulao dish. I've tried a few restaurants in the area, but this one stands out. Their Kabuli Pulao is not overly oily, and the rice is always perfectly moist, which I really appreciate. My only suggestion would be to offer an extra rice option, as the portion can sometimes feel a bit small--you might need to order two servings to have enough. I haven't dined in person yet and have only ordered takeout, but everything I've tried has been delicious. Aside from the Kabuli Pulao, I've ordered their bolani as well as their kebabs. The meat is always moist, flavorful, and spiced just right. Overall, it's a solid choice for flavorful, well-prepared food. I'll definitely keep coming back for more!

Yummy food. Aushak was the best. I just wish they had ice for the coke, I don't like coke that's just cold lol I want icy cold over a heavy meal.

I have been here with family as well as for work. Food has never disappointed. Delicious kabob, bolani, banjan, and more. And the fresh tandoori naan is what really sets this place apart from other afghan restaurants. Service is great and friendly.

Love the shami chicken kabob and shami beef kabob also ordered their afghan bread and eggplant dish

We stopped by this place on the way to Walnut Creek, we usually order Asian food but decided to get something different. The restaurant gave cute family vibes, and the meal felt like it was prepared by mom and pop. I enjoy the authenticity of the place. The price was also very fair, so really no complaints from me.

Definitely worth coming here! The restaurant is nothing special and sometimes it not filled. The interior is quite simple, but it's okay because we are not here to look at the wall. The staff is always professional and friendly . Very attentive and we have never had a problem. The food is great! To be honest, I am not sure what I ordered. My partner is the one that chooses, but I liked every bit of it. Look at pictures and ask for it! We do not live close to it, but whenever we are in the east bay and hungry, that is one of our favorite places.

If you're craving for some delicious Afghan cuisine, CHOPAN KABOB got you! I haven't had Afghan for a few years now, and I don't remember it tasting this yummy. Of course! I had to try their infamous Bolanis, and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of an exotic Chinese onion pancakes with dips. Must try! The grilled shami kebabs were tasty and yummy. The Tandkori chicken came out smoking Hot and sexy! And it was so flavorful and tasty!! The Chicken Karahi had a delicious sauce that was so perfect with the rice. Yes! Bahklava is a must, but the Firni was so light and refreshing like panna cotta.
